WOW! Great condo right on the beach with THE best view of the sunset! We loved opening the sliding door and the screen to take in the amazing sunsets directly out front. It was perfect as my 91 year old mother in a wheelchair could sit on the lanai and watch the sunset with no screen in the way, a pleasant breeze flowing thru the condo, and the relaxing sounds of the lapping waves.
The owners were very quick to reply and answer all questions. They updated the living room furniture including a crazy-comfortable swiveling recliner that you won’t want to get out of, and they put in a new 70″ round glass dining table that we were able to fit 7 people at for Christmas eve dinner (4 dining chairs, 1 wheelchair, & 2 of our camping chairs). Amazingly, there was plenty of room for all seven to eat a fancy meal and play cards.
We loved being right on the beach and the bay and found a 4 inch sand dollar during low tide along with several conch shells and a 4 inch whelk. The owners clearly pay attention to details and everything you could want is there including a full carousel of Keurig coffees and even a toothbrush holder and instructions on the light switches and shower controls.
The only minor thing is that the fridge does not have an ice maker, but to accommodate for that, the ice bin was full of ice when we arrived along with 5 trays of ice cubes – plenty of ice for us to make frozen cocktails the first night, so no ice maker was not a big deal. Who cares when you can watch sensational sunsets and sip margaritas?! And kudos to Fisherman’s Cove for putting up some pretty awesome Christmas lights all over! It was a Christmas we won’t forget!
